Vultr offers automatic backup as an option for any Performance Series VPS.
Automatic backups are managed through the Vultr control panel. Once you log into your account, visit the servers area and choose a VPS. If backups are available on your account, you will see a "Backup" tab on the server manager.
Overview
Automatic backups run daily. The time that the backup occurs is configurable.
Only your two most recent backups are stored by Vultr, giving you two days of backup history.
You can only restore snapshots of the VPS, not individual files.
Backups are stored in the same datacenter as the original instance on a separate fault tolerant storage system.
Billing
An instance with automatic backups enabled will have a 20% higher monthly/hourly fee (excluding license costs).
Limitations
Automatic backups take regular snapshots of your file system. Active databases may require additional backup methods (example: mysqldump) in order to ensure a full copy of your data is available.
